Heheh. I did find out one thing though, it doesn't really matter how things are done, as long as they get done. Now, to me it matters. My OCD brain can't wrap around loading my dishwasher a different way and it causes me actual anxiety. I would correct my husband's dish placement. Then he stopped putting his dishes in the DW. I couldn't figure out why he suddenly stopped. He was glad to tell me that I made him feel like he wasn't going to do it right anyway, so why try. That was all I needed to hear. I don't correct OTHER people's work anymore. It drives me nuts not to. I have had more anxiety over it than anything. But if you make the bed, I won't correct it even though I am sure you are wrong in how it's made. If you put your dishes in the DW, I will just thank you, close my eyes and pretend I don't see how wrong it is. =) Why? Because it's not wrong. It's just not my way.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4164137407040269889.post-46500573635460364612008-07-02T13:51:00.000-05:002008-07-02T13:51:00.000-05:00Maybe a little of both?! Apparently I am just "a little" OCD...by my calculations, that makes EVERYONE a little ocd!

Seriously though...as different as we all are as people, I think it should just boil down to your house, your rules, your way!

The girls have plenty of time later in life to enjoy their own way of doing something...

JMO, of course :-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
