**UPDATE** Apparently they went on their trip, on my way back to the office from lunch I passed the school buses with tiny heads bobbing around in them... LOL... I can't wait to hear about the day's events!

See this??? Today is the second grade's ONE BIG FIELD TRIP of the year! Their school only allows each grade to take ONE field trip each year and this year they were supposed to go visit the Butterfly Discovery Gardens at Fair Park! What do you think the chances are that they ended up going? I haven't heard from the school, so I really don't know if they had an alternative plan, but I do hope the kiddos get to have some sort of fun - what a bummer - raining - torrential down pours on the ONE FIELD TRIP of the school year!

Oh dear! I heard your part of the country was going to be getting some severe weather!

Our weather is so unpredictable, that the school actually has built in to field trips schedules the dreaded weather delay.

That's a regular occurrence around here! Field trips here rarely get postponed because of rain. I hope they had fun!

How precious. I love the sight of school buses going places all full of kids.
